Message I went to remove my clutch master cylinder so that I could rebuild it and discovered that the clutch line fitting had been nicely rounded off along most of the edges. No idea when that happened as I'ved never personally done any work on it before.

Here's a pic using a mirror to show the underside of the nut which looks to be in fairly good condition.

I've tried using a flarenut and regular wrench to loosen the nut along with PB Blaster, but so far no luck loosening it, only seems to round it a bit more. I'm fairly certain I could get it off using Vice Grips but I'm also pretty certain that the nut would definitely be ruined then, which would make it difficult to reinstall. Contacted Nissan and of course, the metal clutch line is no longer available at any of their warehouses for any year of the car. They suggested I could cut the fitting off and then have a compression fitting put on. Definitely not a simple suggestion.

Anybody else got any suggestions about how to remove the rounded fitting and reinstall it?
